You will support and learn from BFP and its scientists, as well as local communities. What would be the volunteer hours?
4 days a week for 6 hours.

Objectives of the volunteer program:
Create skills in volunteers in activities of scientific monitoring, ecotourism and environmental education.
Connect the community, students, professionals and young nationals and foreigners in actions for the conservation of natural resources
Strengthen the protection, conservation and sustainable management of Biodiversity.
Have support staff in project activities
Promote nature conservation during activities related to the program.
Volunteer Profile:
Be a lover and respectful of nature.
Willing to follow recommendations and fulfill assignments.
Know how to maintain appropriate behavior and good communication during volunteer periods, among colleagues, with community residents and with visitors.
Willing to support night and day outdoor monitoring work, good physical condition depending on the projects.
Possess optimal physical and health conditions to be able to carry out the activities of the program.
It is not a requirement to have previous experience in the management of Biodiversity since the necessary explanations will be given during the first day of activity and if necessary during the following days, talks are offered to the volunteers as far as possible.

Costs per person $20.00 per day
for 7 days, from Tuesday to Sunday. Day Tuesday leaving the city in the afternoon. Wednesday On Saturday for 6 hours I work in various activities on the farms. Saturday and Sunday tours to the rivers, mountains and museums in the area. Sunday afternoon return to Panama City. US$ 140.00 rural lodging, three meals, water, technical and medical assistance in case of emergency.
