It is a space for articulation or mentoring focused on a relationship of personal and professional development within the environmental and scientific environment in which a more experienced or knowledgeable person helps aspiring scientists or environmentalists with less knowledge. The person receiving the mentorship has been called PROTECTED OR APPRENTICE.

1. Stimulation: Stimulate the apprentice in topics of scientific and environmental interest.

2. Training: Train trainees in environmental science topics and more through: a. tours b. talks c. Workshops d. Conversations e. Jobs f. Progress assignments and more

3. Development: Each intern must propose a joint project of their choice, advising their assigned mentor.

4. Connect: Connect the apprentice with the scientific community in Panama and abroad.

1. Present project to the Public : Within a conference, BFP members and advisors present the results of their ADOPTA graduation project.

2. Create generational change: a. The interest of this program is to create new committed members, scientific and environmental leaders. b. Develop multidisciplinary scientists who put their scientific capacities to work for others to solve problems of an environmental nature and who work in PRO of the conservation of our resources
